Lobster Roll
Markey's is a destination stop on our way up to Maine and on the way back home. The lobster is done just right and there is not a lot of other stuff in there to hide the flavor. The fries are great without fail. I tried the lobster Bisque and while tasty was a little thick for my taste. While I really like cold lobster rolls my wife likes them hot with just butter. Maybe they might consider adding that to the menu someday.
Steamed Lobster
I love coming to Markey's for a steamed lobster! they give you plenty of melted butter that taste's like butter, not oil, and it all the tools! Their coleslaw makes a yummy side too!

Fried Seafood Plate
A member of my party ordered a seafood plate w/o lobster and it was delicious. The Scallops, clams, haddock were all very good and the portion size was great. They added a side order of onion rings & calamari too, which were both excellent! We'll definitely order again.

Fish Chowder

My mother was raised in Exeter NH and hadnt been back "home" in 30 yrs so my husband and I took her back for a weeks visit. She was 90 yrs old! We ate at your restaurant at least 3 or 4 times. The seafood, especially the whole belly clams, taste just like I remember from my childhood when we would visit my grandparents! My mothers enjoyed your delicious seafood and it brought back great memories for her. Your portions were huge and we ate them cold as a late night snack in our hotel. The seafood was even delicious cold! Im hoping to make another trip in the near future and you will be my first stop for dinner!!

We just made a stop at your spot and were absolutely shocked at the quality of the food we ate. We had the scallop plate and an order of steamers. The scallops were very blah , the tartar sauce was disgusting and salty, the steamers were not at all sweet and lots of empty shells. The butter for the steamers was nasty and did not seem like real butter. The o rings were the best thing we ate. We always have gone to Browns and figured we would give you a try. Extremely disappointed. Back to Browns we go. I
